Ballycroy - On the Wild Atlantic Way

Hi. We are Seamus and Fiona, the owners of Cafferkey's Bar and B'n'B. You will be very welcome to stay here in our family owned business if you are travelling through Ballycroy on your way to Achill Island, Belmullet or travelling the Wild Atlantic Way.

Our latest good news is that we now have a 7 Day a week Bus Service (Route 978) running from Castlebar, Newport, Mullranny to Ballycroy, and continuing on to Belmullet. There are 3 buses-a-day, in the morning, lunch-time and evening. This makes Ballycroy accessible to visitors using Public Transport. And the service links in with the Train at Castlebar.
The Bus Timetable is below.

Yes, we have a Daily Bus, route number 978, which travels from Belmullet to Castlebar 3 times a day. The bus also stops in the towns of Newport, Mulranny, Bangor Erris as well. The fare is very reasonable and it stops just outside out BnB.

What our Guests Say on Air BnB

"Fiona runs a pub below the b&b. It was noisy until midnight. The saving grace of this place is its location adjacent to the dark sky park.”

Uncomplicated stay at Fionas B&B, upstairs there are a couple rooms and downstairs a small pub for a nightcap or two. All was super simple and flexible. Ballycroy National Park is around the corner. Breakfast is included, super good!! We liked it, wish you all the best.
